From Jo'burg by birth and proudly South African. After more than fifteen years immersed in the corporate world, I felt the pull to pursue my dreams and embrace 'adventure'. Always seeking new experiences, I delved into skydiving and scuba diving, among other pursuits. In 2004, my exploration took on a new dimension: traversing Africa on a BMW motorcycle. From the expansive landscapes of the Karoo to the sweeping plains of the Namib Desert, with their enticing mountain passes and rugged gravel roads, my path less traveled became my destiny. It became me. During exhilarating motorcycle journeys with friends, the idea to offer selfguided luxury motorcycle tours through South Africa emerged organically. Gavin, a motorcycle enthusiast, private guide, keen photographer, foodie lover, and connoisseur of fine wines, brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to our endeavors.

When I contemplate this extraordinary continent, I yearn to immerse myself in its vitality, to listen to its diverse sounds, and to marvel at its boundless beauty. Africa has been intertwined with my life for over 30 years—I live here, embrace its finesse, its 'joie de vivre', and absorb the rhythms of its countless cultures, nature, and wildlife.
